HEADS and Trenton Channel Edison employees extend their compliments to Animal Control Officer Becky Swayze for her efforts to rescue a wounded Goose near the power plant recently.  An Edison employee  reported this rescue attempt to HEADS and said that Officer Swayze's efforts were commendable.  On her first try at the rescue the goose kept its distance.  Officer Swayze returned later in the day and tried to entice the bird with food, but to no avail.  The bird just would not come near the shore.  Our Animal Control Officers have to deal with this sort of thing on a regular basis and for the most part goes unnoticed by the public.   Thanks again to Becky Swayze.
